247recruit Launch Apprenticeships Guide For Outdoor Sector
Niche job board network 247recruit have launched an Apprenticeships Guide for the Outdoors Sector to celebrate National Apprenticeships Week. The online resource published on their specialist outdoor jobs board OutdoorStaff.co.uk highlights the growth of apprenticeship schemes in the Outdoors sector and aims to provide a valuable careers resource for both employers and candidates. The guide signposts employers with apprenticeship vacancies and includes three new videos that provide practical information from employers. There is also video footage from the "Great Outdoor Qualifications Debate" held at The Outdoors Show in January. The debate includes speaker contributions from major outdoor employers, the National Apprenticeship Service and SkillsActive.
Commenting on the launch, Andrew Bird, MD of 247recruit said "Apprenticeships have moved into the mainstream within this sector and are no longer the exclusive preserve of the larger multi-centre employers. We hope that this new resource will help both employers and potential new apprentices by exploding a few myths and highlighting the benefits of an Apprenticeship."
