247recruit Acquire Niche Recruitment Limited

247recruit have completed the acquisition of Niche Recruitment Ltd to strengthen their dominant position in the student and seasonal recruitment sectors.

Niche Recruitment publishes a network of specialist recruitment websites in the student, travel and outdoor education markets.

247recruit Managing Director Andrew Bird said: "This acquisition is the second part of a two-pronged acquisition strategy to consolidate our market leading positions in these sectors. The 6 job sites operated by Niche Recruitment will be integrated into our own network over the next few weeks to provide extra traffic to our own sites Student-jobs.co.uk, Resortwork.co.uk, Ski-jobs.co.uk and Adventurework.co.uk. This acquisition will also increase the size of our candidate database to over 500,000."

Niche Recruitment was established in 2005 and its sites included studentjobs4u.co.uk, skijobs4u.co.uk, adventurejobs4u.co.uk and summerjobs4u.co.uk.
